Is the end of email?
Reading the Info Exame Magazine the month of October/2008, pp. 35 of columnist Sandra Carvalho I came across the following headline: "The e-mail agonizing".
Reading the article I began thinking about a paragraph which I quote below:
"The kids up to 18 years dealing with the email the same way as the rest of humanity sees the post-teen RG and CPF: as males to take the necessary red tape" ... "The current generation is e-mail to register on websites, get notified of the school, to shop online."
In fact this is true.
I wonder a few years this "kids" putting in their curricula expressions like "total area Orkut, advanced knowledge in MSN, SMS, Skype, Twitter and similar ..."
I wonder the IT sector absorbing all the staff and having to give training on how to use an e-mail, write a text in Portuguese, with no abbreviations of the type you, tb, etc., And, worse, that will not written in another dialect - I refer to miguxês.
Will it come a day when the company instead of sending an email to the official, will have a scrap? I hope not!
